Contract Manager Opportunity

Island Roads, a key partner in the Isle of Wight's Highways PFI, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the island's road network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure contract performance aligns with agreed budgets and deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of safety across all operations, including conducting regular safety audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead programming and planning to ensure seamless service delivery, including managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Ensure financial governance with accurate, timely reporting, and develop team skills to enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as ONC/City & Guilds/NVQ in a relevant discipline, or NRSWA-accredited (Supervisor).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and highway maintenance software, such as Confirm and Kheops.
  • Strong written and report writing skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
