About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Dental Nurse, you will provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer, enabling the maintenance of the surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, perform reception duties, and handle documents
  • Operate the dental computing system, process radiographs, and maintain equipment
  • Work in the central sterilization area and ensure compliance with GDC Principles and Standards
  • Manage patient appointments, dental records, and stock control
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions
  • Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defense organization
  • Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies and radiation protection
  • Trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures
  • Completed additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures
Desirable Requirements
  • Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience
  • Hold a Dental Nurse qualification
