NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced GP to lead the Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service in Forth Valley. The successful candidate will have completed GP training and have a strong clinical background in cancer and palliative care.
The Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service is a key part of the Forth Valley Cancer Strategy, aiming to provide timely and effective cancer diagnosis. The service will operate in a one-stop environment, offering a range of diagnostic tests and treatments. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as experience in leading clinical services.
