About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant in the School Health Care department.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people in the community, working closely with our experienced healthcare practitioners to provide a range of health-related services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and vision screening programmes to primary schools within a specified area.
  • Supporting the delivery of Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) in primary and secondary schools.
  • Working in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, working alongside experienced healthcare practitioners in a variety of settings.
