Job Title: Cost Manager

At Turner & Townsend Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team. As a Cost Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports
  • Develop and present cost plans, utilizing relevant cost management tools and services
  • Manage tendering and procurement processes, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and contractual document preparation
  • Act as contract administrator, handling post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation
  • Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages
  • Collaborate with Turner & Townsend's project management team during project delivery
  • Lead a cost management team, ensuring delivery of all accountabilities
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Confident and professional manner
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business
  • Ability to work well under pressure
