Aeropeople Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our esteemed client in the aviation sector.

As a key member of the Compliance team, reporting to the Engineering Quality Assurance Manager, you will assist in the execution and oversight of all elements related to the Quality and Safety Management System within the Fleet Engineering Department, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.


Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining regulatory certifications, engaging in quality oversight, conducting audits, authorizing engineers, performing risk assessments, and analyzing hazards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders focused on Quality and Safety throughout the organization.


This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Assuming regulatory responsibility for conducting Airworthiness Reviews across the aircraft fleet.
  • Executing Aircraft Airworthiness Reviews (ARC) and Extensions as authorized by the UK CAA.
  • Overseeing external CAA audits related to Aircraft Continuous Airworthiness Monitoring, Part 145, and Part CAMO.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert to guide staff through new processes and IT software upgrades.
  • Ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of Part 145 and Part CAMO Quality Assurance processes to meet UK National Requirements.
  • Conducting assessments for Licenced Aircraft Engineers to validate their competence for company Authorisations.
  • Facilitating the timely issuance and reissuance of Licenced Aircraft Engineers Licences and Authorisations.
  • Performing Safety and Quality Assurance Audits in accordance with the audit plan across the Fleet Engineering Department.
  • Evaluating suppliers for Engineering and Maintenance functions in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participating in planning meetings for maintenance checks, modifications, and defect resolutions.
  • Managing compliance procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing incidents and trends in occurrence reports, including safety and maintenance issues, and preparing reports for management review.
  • Engaging in all aspects of the role in alignment with the Safety Management System, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Contributing to the management of the quality and safety database for tracking occurrences and audit findings.

Qualifications:

  • UK CAA Part 66 License or equivalent Aeronautical Engineering Degree with relevant experience in continuing airworthiness.
  • Extensive experience in commercial aviation.
  • Significant background in Quality Assurance and/or Safety Management roles.
  • Formal training in aeronautical maintenance.
  • Thorough understanding of CAA regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
