Key Responsibilities:
As the Engineering Operations Manager, you will:
- Direct all engineering initiatives within the designated manufacturing and packaging sectors.
- Provide senior engineering leadership as part of the executive leadership team.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, ensuring performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage minor capital project activities effectively.
- Ensure all equipment and engineering practices meet compliance standards, focusing on quality and environmental health and safety.
- Lead the strategy for continuous improvement in engineering processes.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in engineering maintenance management, with at least a Green Belt in Lean Sigma.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Solid financial acumen.
- A comprehensive understanding of quality management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional attributes that would be advantageous include:
- Chartered Engineer status.
