Service Driver 7.5T Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

Stericycle is seeking a highly skilled Service Driver 7.5T Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Field Services Operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement and transportation of clinical and industrial waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the safe and efficient transportation of waste, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the transportation team to optimize routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and collection of waste.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including drivers' hours and WTD records.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements related to Road Traffic Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Act as a customer contact at delivery points, providing a professional and courteous service.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating a flexible approach to working times and shifts.

Requirements:

  • Category C1 Licence, allowing drivers to operate vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes.
  • Preferred: ADR Licence.
  • Previous driving experience, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
