What You'll Do:

As a Data Chapter Lead, you'll be part of shaping our future from within the Data Chapter. You'll be responsible for delivering insights, advancing our data strategy, promoting domain-driven and self-serve principles, and furthering people development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an ambassador of the Data Chapter and promote the data strategy, data skills, and best practices.
  • Work with peers and your team to translate outcomes into relevant insights, promoting self-service and ensuring outstanding results in the use of products and solutions.
  • Utilize BI tools to create and manage reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Understand how data informs business strategy and combine that with data expertise to deliver new insights and incremental value.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of tools, software, and best practices to support strategic goals.
  • Be an advocate of data governance and ethical use of data, building trust with partners.
  • Be a role model for DLG behaviors, feedback culture, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of data domain experts and manage resources, mentor, and create motivated and engaged teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Provide expertise on future direction, informed by commercial knowledge.
  • Leadership capability that is empowering and empathetic, understanding DLG behaviors.
  • 5+ years of data analysis, digital analytics, data visualization experience, and experience using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience with ETL, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  • Understanding of Agile principles and practices and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • End-to-end mindset with equal focus on delivery and operational aspects.
  • 2+ years of experience with people and craft leadership, supporting people on their growth journeys.
  • Curiosity to experiment and improve, while staying aligned on outcomes.
  • To embrace a culture of feedback, with the goal of continuous improvement of self and others.
  • An interest in staying abreast with, and understanding new technologies as the landscape changes over time.
  • Demonstrate confidence in communications with senior-level management.
  • Excel in a high-demand environment, working on multiple tasks in parallel.

Who You'll Be Working With:

You'll collaborate closely with Rescue value stream leads, product owners, and other data chapters as a direct report to the Data Chapter Area Lead within the Rescue tribe.
