About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Moxy and Residence Inn Slough. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and contributing to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mise en place and food and beverage preparation
  • Assist with receiving and storage of goods
  • Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
  • Assist with preparations for food and beverage functions and service
  • Assist with cellar operations
  • Assist with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, glassware, and china
  • Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
  • Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
  • Cross-training provided at Reception
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Hotel industry experience is essential for the role
  • Flexibility with day and night shift types
  • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Assist others within and outside of the immediate department
  • Self-motivated
