Senior Backend Developer Opportunity

Our client, a leading provider of services to the public sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Manchester. This role offers a unique chance for career growth and development, as well as the opportunity to work with a cross-functional engineering team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, benefiting from the company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and supporting various projects in the public sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Backend Developer looking to take their career to the next level and make a meaningful contribution to a business that values technology for social good.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# (preferably.NET 6+), expertise in SQL Server, and extensive experience in Test Driven Development (NUnit preferred). They will also have advanced version control skills using Git and high proficiency in creating and maintaining RESTful & GraphQL APIs.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Writing unit tests to ensure high code quality.
  2. Supporting and mentoring other developers within the team, promoting best practices and encouraging professional growth.

This role will also involve close collaboration with the Salesforce team, providing opportunities for upskilling and professional development.
