Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Assistant to join our team at NUVIA. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce building-specific documents, including handover reports and hypothesis notes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for raising and following up on building-specific technical open points.
  • Support the resolution of transverse/complex technical open points in collaboration with the civil building lead.
  • Resolve building-specific technical topics and track their evolution within your scope of activity.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports for the Client Project Manager and alert of any technical risks to the program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Civil engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of the design and detailing of reinforced concrete.
  • Knowledge of the HPC civil engineering design sequence and/or experience on HPC projects would be advantageous.
