Job Summary

The CNC Operator will be responsible for the operation of CNC Machines within the Metal Card Department. This role will be at the heart of the manufacturing activity, working alongside team-members to develop industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Machines safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret drawings and job details to ensure accurate production.
  • Operate industrial machinery, including hydraulic presses, guillotines, polishers, punches, grinders, and borers.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories according to procedures.
  • Establish tolerance levels and cutting speeds for optimal production.
  • Translate part drawings into production measurements.
  • Inspect workflows to ensure technical and quality standards are met.
  • Develop a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining tasks.
Deliverables
  • Ensure client artwork and job instructions align with production processes.
  • Support the manufacturing activity to meet customer targets.
  • Deliver samples to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain machine and system performance at optimal levels.
  • Produce high-quality products in line with departmental specifications.
  • Review and report on development opportunities.
