At Flex Legal, we're committed to opening the legal profession to a wider pool of talent. Our innovative Solicitors Qualification Examination (SQE) route offers a unique opportunity for aspiring solicitors to qualify as a lawyer.

Our Flex Trainee Programme

We place Flex Trainees in legal teams over the two years of their SQE, where they gather valuable qualifying work experience (QWE) while completing the academic component of their qualification.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Spring 2025 Flex Trainee programme, you'll need to have:

  • Completed the LPC or SQE1
  • Have a minimum of six months' legal experience
  • Flex Apprentice candidates: Maths & English GCSE or equivalent, and 1 or above in at least one degree or post-graduate qualification
