Dining Experience Ambassador

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Host to join our team at Sopwell House. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for setting the tone for their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome and Seating: Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly welcome, ensuring a seamless transition to their dining experience.
- Reservation Management: Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience, ensuring that guests are seated in a timely and efficient manner.
- Menu Presentation: Escort guests to their tables and present menus, providing a warm and inviting introduction to the dining experience.
- Communication and Collaboration: Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations, collaborating with the waitstaff and management team to ensure smooth operations.
- Service Standards: Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every guest feels valued and respected.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Collaborate with the waitstaff and management team to ensure smooth operations, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, standards, and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized host station.
Requirements:
- Experience: Past roles within hotel restaurants with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a five-star environment.
- Supervisory Experience: Experience at supervisory level is essential.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Micros systems would be advantageous.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility: Very flexible approach towards working hours, including weekends.
- Personal Qualities: Loyal and trustworthy, honest, positive, responsible, very committed, passionate.
