Electrical Maintenance Opportunity with CBW Staffing Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our national client on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, with a focus on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment
Requirements:
  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

As a mobile opportunity, this role will cover the Birmingham, Coventry & Leicester areas. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience), a van and fuel card supplied, core hours of Monday - Friday (40 hours per week), participation in an 'out of hours' on call rota (to be confirmed), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous workplace pension scheme, training, development & progression opportunities, and more.
