About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to work with us as Warehouse Operatives - Parcel Sorters. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload and load parcels from trailers, moving them through our warehouse and ensuring they arrive at their destination safely.
  • Work with a mechanized Parcel Sorting machine, sorting up to 40,000 items per shift.
  • Assist with various tasks during a shift, including parcel handling and sorting.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to switch between various tasks during a shift.
  • Ability to carry parcels up to 30kgs and push up to 250kg, with assistance provided for larger items.
  • Physical ability to manage heavy goods.

Compensation

We offer competitive pay rates, including:

  • Early shift (04:00am - 10:00am): £11.44 p/h
  • Back shift (15:00pm - 19:00pm): £11.44 p/h
  • Night Shift (10pm - 6am): £11.44 p/h
  • Peak Pay Rates (28th October 2024 to 12th January 2025 only):
    • Early shift (04:00am - 10:00am): £12.54 p/h
    • Late Shift (15:00pm - 19:00pm): £13.90 p/h
    • Night Shift (10pm - 6am): £15.11 p/h

Additional Information

We may also offer an uplift in pay for overtime and Bank Holidays.
