We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join our thriving Secondary School in Sevenoaks, Kent. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to our school's mission of excellence and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire Religious Studies students to reach their full potential
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide high-quality academic support and guidance
- Participate in school-related activities, events, and meetings, promoting a sense of community and shared purpose
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students
- Proven experience in teaching Religious Studies in a mainstream secondary school
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication and collaboration
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives
