About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our team at CV Bay Ltd. As a key member of our specialist commercial catering department, you will be responsible for the service and breakdown of commercial catering equipment throughout service stations, airports, fast food chains, and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service and repair commercial catering equipment from leading manufacturers
* Work on a wide range of equipment, including cooking appliances, refrigeration units, and dishwashing machines
* Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of tasks
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve a 90% first fix rate
Requirements:
* COMCAT 1, 3, 5 certification (essential)
* Full driver's license (essential)
* Relevant experience working on commercial catering equipment
* Electrical experience (an advantage)
What We Offer:
* Competitive basic salary of £45,000pa (negotiable depending on experience)
* 40-hour week
* Paid door-to-door travel
* 33 days' holiday, including bank holidays (increases to 34 days after 5 years)
* Smart phone, tablet, and uniform
* Transit Custom van and fuel card
* On-call arrangement with £100 standby payment and overtime rates
* Weekly overtime paid at time and a half (Monday to Saturday)
* Double time on Sundays and bank holidays
Top-up COMCAT training and manufacturer-provided training will be available if required.
