We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to develop and implement a strategy to build GFI's philanthropic income from foundations in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with key foundations, crafting compelling funding proposals, and securing significant gifts to support GFI's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to build GFI's philanthropic income from foundations in Europe.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key foundations, including research, outreach, and engagement.
- Craft compelling funding proposals and grant applications to secure significant gifts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GFI's stakeholders, including the Head of Development and the Board of Directors.

Requirements:
- Proven track record of cultivating relationships with foundations and securing significant gifts.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Comfort using CRM databases to record and track interactions with donors and prospects.
