Job Overview

Stott and May is seeking a highly skilled FTTx Site Supervisor to join our team in Cornwall. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our FTTx projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation and build progress of FTTx projects, ensuring quality and adherence to project milestones.
  • Review and interpret project documentation, including build packs and method statements, to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Collaborate with build partners to ensure the use of the latest version of project documentation and facilitate monitoring of compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Validate any variations or changes to the project that impact cost or schedule, ensuring they are supported by approved changes.
  • Track and monitor daily progress with subcontractors, including updates on relevant tools and approve/reject works completed by subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Previous supervisory experience on large UK FTTx projects.
  • Good understanding of FTTx architecture and designs.
  • Solid understanding of SROF/HAUC regulations.

Qualifications

  • SA001 Safety Overhead.
  • SA002 Safety Underground.
  • S006 Duct Survey.
  • S005 Pole Survey.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS (preferable).
  • Knowledge and experience of H&S practices for traffic management, excavations, and underground asset avoidance.
