Lead Agile Business Analyst

Intec Select Ltd is seeking a skilled Lead Agile Business Analyst to facilitate the execution of essential products, systems, processes, and related business initiatives while providing mentorship to junior team members.

The ideal candidate will possess robust expertise in RAID management, requirements elicitation processes, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, with a preference for experience in Azure DevOps environments.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in a transformative project as our client transitions to a cloud-first architecture within a scaled Agile framework.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of £70,000 to £75,000, along with additional benefits.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Conducting thorough discovery analysis to assess problems or opportunities within the competitive landscape, business process framework, and existing IT and data solutions.

2. Supporting strategic business decisions by identifying and evaluating potential solution options.

3. Managing stakeholder relationships to encompass diverse perspectives and enhance the change journey through effective communication and proactive planning.

4. Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, validating, and verifying business requirements for the chosen solution, addressing both functional and non-functional aspects.

5. Developing various artifacts such as Journey models, Use Case diagrams, and Business Process models (utilizing BPMN notation) to provide clarity and context for both business and technical teams.

6. Ensuring requirements traceability throughout the change initiative, from desired business outcomes to software development and acceptance testing.

7. Supporting defined changes through to benefit realization, including project change evaluation, RAID identification, and resolution of defects as necessary.


Core Skill Requirements:


1. Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst within the Financial Services sector is essential.

2. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in guiding Business Analysts and Junior Business Analysts in both waterfall and Agile environments.

3. Strong proficiency in customer journey mapping, process modeling, data modeling, test defect triage, stakeholder management, and traceability matrices.

4. Experience with on-premise to cloud transformation initiatives is critical.

5. Solid understanding of elicitation techniques, RAID identification, and engagement with senior stakeholders is necessary.

6. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.

7. Professional certifications such as IIBA's CBAP or BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis are advantageous.
