We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Steward/Porter to join our team at Center Parcs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, as well as assisting with the disposal of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash-up areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and deep clean the kitchen and wash-up areas
  • Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a high standard of hygiene
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of service
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a high standard of hygiene
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
