About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Medway Power Station. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for the management of our rotating assets, including two GE 9FA gas turbines and a D11 steam turbine.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical governance and compliance with industry best practices
  • Delivery of engineering solutions for rotating plant assets
  • Effective outage strategy and management of outages
  • Budget ownership and contract management of key strategic suppliers
  • Technical expertise and advice to other departments
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role in the electricity or equivalent engineering industry
  • Extensive engineering knowledge in relation to gas turbines and steam turbines
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage teams and outages
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and regulations
