Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Premier Engineering is seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical products using CAD software
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to bring projects from concept to completion
  • Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Produce technical documentation and project reports
  • Update 3D models and drawings as required
  • Input parts into the MRP system and create BOMs
  • Check drawings for sign off
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD
  • Ability to perform mechanical calculations
  • Previous experience working with machinery and automated systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Keen to develop with a company long-term
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
