About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Professional to join our team in a hybrid capacity. As a key member of our Compliance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our company's ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the business in identifying and assessing potential risks, ensuring they are adequately mitigated through robust policies, procedures, training, systems, and controls.
  • Provide expert regulatory advice and guidance to the business on compliance topics, including Consumer Duty, credit broking requirements, and Data Protection.
  • Undertake monitoring and testing activities to assess the effectiveness of regulatory and conduct risk control processes.
  • Produce written reports of monitoring outcomes, review findings, and action plans.
  • Review and support the business in logging breaches and incidents, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on complaints, breaches, and incidents data to identify themes and emerging risks.
  • Assist with the collation of risk and compliance Management Information (MI) for reporting to senior management and the Board.
Requirements
  • Detailed technical knowledge of FCA Handbooks, including CONC, DISP, PRIN, and SYSC, as well as legislative frameworks such as AML and Data Protection.
  • Understanding of industry best practice standards.
  • Previous experience working within a compliance and/or risk department of a FCA regulated company.
  • Ability to analyze and translate regulations into policies, processes, and procedures.

We offer a competitive day rate, a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement, and a 35-hour week with a 1 pm finish on Fridays.
