Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment and machinery, including cyclical equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities do not impact production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Recognized time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
  • Strong understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled environment.
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read advanced electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
