This Base and Line Maintenance Centre stands out as the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and is recognized as the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. Strategically located, it provides comprehensive maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades, ensuring exceptional service for operators in the UK region and beyond.

We are currently seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to join our new Service Centre at the London Biggin Hill Airport, United Kingdom.

This London Service Centre will complement an esteemed network of wholly-owned Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centres, alongside line maintenance stations in various European cities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures, including relevant sections of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures, actively participating in 5-S activities and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Execute and document maintenance tasks according to approved maintenance data, such as aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Identify defective aircraft components using the Material Return Form.
  • Order necessary parts through SAP.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks to the standards outlined in the Maintenance Data, under the supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, and promptly notify supervisors of any defects or errors.
  • Report discrepancies and ensure proper processing of removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts.
  • Correct defects under the guidance of Certifying Staff/Support Staff.
  • Document maintenance errors and perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses civil maintenance experience.
  • Holds up-to-date knowledge as per Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Familiar with Part-145 regulations.
  • Knowledgeable in EWIS and CDCCL as applicable.
  • Understands and practices human factors, performance, and limitations.
  • Able to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Effectively communicates in both written and verbal forms regarding task status.
  • Skilled in using standard and special tools, as well as operating ground support equipment.
  • Capable of working in accordance with maintenance data and notifying responsible functions of any defects or mistakes.
  • Adept at identifying and rectifying unsafe conditions.
  • Experienced in understanding critical tasks.
  • Possesses basic PC skills.
