We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our Planning, Governance & Compliance team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
Key Responsibilities- Lead and report on the delivery of IT technical elements of business and technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, and timescales.
- Coordinate and lead solution teams, providing associated reporting and management of technical issues and risks.
- Produce project documentation, including technical plans and progress reports, to facilitate project delivery control.
- Liaise with project managers to update on project progress and engage with external suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate technical testing activities and work within SQA's IT strategy and standards framework.
- Education to SCQF Level 9 (Ordinary Degree or higher) or direct relevant experience.
- Experience in delivery methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative), delivery frameworks (e.g. Prince 2), and project scheduling tooling (e.g. MS Project).
- Working knowledge and/or previous experience working in the education sector.
- Ability to role model SQA's values (Trusted, Progressive, and Enabling) and develop a productive and positive culture.
