About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Trainer to join our team at Mental Health Resource. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and informative short courses and workshops to improve mental wellbeing in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop short courses for specific groups of people in our community, ensuring content is evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and relevant to diverse audiences.
  • Deliver mental health awareness workshops to corporates and other organisations in and around the Tunbridge Wells area.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive short courses and workshops on mental health, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide practical tools and strategies for managing mental health and promoting mental wellbeing.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and disseminate marketing and promotional materials and activities for the short courses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the courses and workshops and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting people with complex mental health issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong networking and presentation skills.
  • A passion for raising awareness about mental wellbeing.
  • A great team player, friendly, collaborative, and who wants to contribute to a positive charity culture.
