Main Responsibilities

As a Vestibular Audiologist, you will be responsible for working within the adult vestibular audiology service, undertaking vestibular assessment and rehabilitation with adult patients in Berkshire, primarily at King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor. This role will involve seeing adult patients referred from community and acute settings.

Key Duties
  1. Conduct comprehensive history taking and vestibular assessment.
  2. Perform VNG, vHIT, vestibular rehabilitation, testing and treatment for BPPV, caloric testing, and VEMP testing.
  3. Compile information and prepare reports, following protocols and making onward red flag referrals where necessary.
  4. Provide patient handling, counselling, and necessary skills involved in adult working.
  5. Work as part of a Multidisciplinary Team within the Audiology service.

Requirements
  • Experienced Clinical Audiologist with current experience of managing balance clinics/patients.
  • Clinical skills and management to an appropriate standard of independent practice, supported by or working towards State Registration HCPC/RCCP MSc in Audiology with competency certificate.
