About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at a small, independently owned and family-run hotel. Our hotel has an excellent reputation for its fine cuisine, and we are looking for someone to assist our Pastry Chef in creating modern British menus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and presenting desserts and pastries
  • Work as part of a brigade of 10 chefs to create a seamless dining experience
  • Contribute to the development of new dessert menus and ideas
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of modern British cuisine and pastry techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
