Their clientele includes a variety of professionals such as performers, athletes, content creators, and influencers, providing an opportunity to engage in intriguing projects that cater to this distinguished group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with tax authorities regarding clearance applications and inquiries.
- Preparing detailed reports and advisory letters on various tax matters.
- Calculating figures to support tax advice.
- Interacting with clients and participating in meetings alongside team members.
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff members.
- Assisting Directors and Partners within the Tax Advisory Group.
Examples of tasks you may assist with include:
- Providing guidance on corporate restructuring and investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS.
- Advising on remuneration and succession planning for owner-managed businesses.
- Preparing claims for research and development, VAT, and SDLT.
- Consulting individuals on inheritance tax and capital gains tax strategies.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and submissions.
Requirements:
To be considered, candidates should possess either CTA qualifications or be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong desire to pursue CTA studies. Experience in corporate taxation is essential, and familiarity with other tax areas is advantageous.
Ideal candidates may currently be part of an accounts or audit team with a keen interest in tax advisory or may already be engaged in a dedicated tax team.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Strong teamwork and organizational capabilities, including the ability to manage timelines and budgets.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in expanding tax knowledge.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between £45,000 and £55,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with room for negotiation. A competitive benefits package is also available, which includes:
