We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lakefields Neurological Centre, a service dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals with neurological conditions.
About the RoleAs a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing consultancy to other professionals, conducting goal-oriented care and treatment, and supporting cognitive, psychometric, and behavioral assessments on a referral basis.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake high-quality specialist psychological interventions, on a referral basis.
- Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
- Support colleagues from other professions to develop the service.
- Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological interventions.
- Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of psychological practice.
- Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Company Policies and Procedures.
- BPS recognised psychology degrees and have Chartered Psychologist status.
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
- Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services.
- Be experienced working with clients with neurocognitive deficits.
- Have previous experience of conducting research and project working.
- Annual salary of £80,000 pro rata (7.5 hours a week).
