Job Title: Car Mechanic

Reporting to: Workshop Manager

Department: Mechanical

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead our in-house mechanical team in a state-of-the-art workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, diagnose, and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.
  • Utilize the latest technology to diagnose and repair engines, gearboxes, and clutches, following a 'fix, not replace' philosophy.
  • Conduct road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a vehicle technician.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
  • A full and valid driving license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • MOT Tester qualification.
  • NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+.
