About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our Water and Drainage Management Division. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a gully truck and carrying out a range of drainage services, including cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a FM Conway Gully Truck to carry out gully contracts within the local area.
  • Attend drainage-related issues, including emergency callouts to deal with blockages or cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programmes.
  • Record and feed back works undertaken, as well as any issues and further works required.
  • Assist in high-pressure water jetting operations.
  • Provide reports using our app system and clear email communication.
  • Work closely with management and crews to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Assist the Drainage Operative in clearing and unblocking drainage blockages.

Skills and Experience

  • Valid Class 2 Licence and full CPC qualification.
  • Experience operating gully trucks or similar equipment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to health and safety.
