About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Property Services team in North Hampshire. As an Electrician with Sovereign Housing, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents' homes are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine testing and repairs of electrical services equipment in residents' homes
  • Undertake responsive repairs and works within planned teams, adhering to IEE wiring regulations and Sovereign's standard procedures
  • Estimate and requisition materials and spares to ensure satisfactory repairs and maintenance
  • Record and report on electrical services equipment status and condition via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates
Requirements
  • Relevant and up-to-date qualifications, including NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition (BS7671), and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect
  • Experience within a similar role in the Residential/Housing sector
  • Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience
  • Satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and basic disclosure
