Job Summary:
Oliver Rae is recruiting for an experienced Vertical Borer Setter to join our client's manufacturing and engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Lathe Turning/Boring machines, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machine setup and operation.
2. Set and operate Lathe Turning/Boring machines to produce high-quality products.
3. Basic programming using Siemens control to optimize machine performance.
4. Use of measuring equipment to ensure precision and accuracy.
5. Overhead crane operating to move heavy machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
1. Experienced in setting and operating Manual Lathes.
2. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Benefits and Working Hours:
06:00-14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating shifts
