Category Manager Opportunity at Wessex Water

This is an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager to join our Procurement Directorate within Wessex Water, a top-performing water and sewerage company in England and Wales. As a Category Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Business Units within the UK, including Wessex Water.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage agreements and spending linked to capital equipment
  • Work in a civil engineering, utilities, or a heavy industry environment, with prior experience in purchasing equipment and critical assets
  • Develop and implement category management strategies to drive cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate contracts and manage frameworks
  • Provide expert advice on contract types and procurement processes
