Leakage Data Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Leakage Data PRV Technician to join our team at South East Water. As a key member of our Data PRV team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our leakage data equipment and systems, utilizing advanced technology to locate and fix leaks and protect our water supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all leakage data equipment, including pressure reducing valves and data loggers.
- Troubleshoot data issues that could impact zonal integrity and suspect flows, working collaboratively with other departments as needed.
- Perform site surveys, repair, or replace defective data devices and PRV equipment, and install and download loggers as required.
- Assist with data logging of projects, including Top 100, E-metering, Control areas, MoD sites, pressure logging, and customer meters.
- Liaise with SEW customer contact centre staff, Production Staff, Engineering Staff, and other SEW staff on data/PRV-related work and other leakage team activities.
- Engage with and assist SEW customers as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of leakage detection activities and competent in the use of leakage detecting equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of pressure reducing values, valve operations, flushing, and main tracing.
- Preferably have experience repairing Data equipment and PRVs (training can be provided).
- Full clean driver's license.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform manual handling.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety for teams and contractors.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
