Position: Homeownership Services Officer - Part Time

Location: Flexible arrangements available

Salary: £20,312– £21,381 annually

Hours: 22.5 hours per week – 7.5 hours per day

We are seeking a Homeownership Services Officer to join our dedicated Homeownership team. In this role, you will provide a responsive and customer-centric service to homeowners and local teams nationwide. You will be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team that prioritizes training and development, allowing for personal growth and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing customer inquiries, disputes, and complaints
  • Assisting local Housing and Homeownership Officers with lease interpretation
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers via phone and email
  • Managing requests for permissions and alterations
  • Providing guidance on service charge budgets and accounts

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with homeownership properties, including knowledge of leases and relevant legislation
  • Strong communication skills, including proficiency in written correspondence and call handling
  • Ability to comprehend service charge accounts and effectively explain them to clients
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to resolving issues in compliance with lease agreements and legislation
  • Proactive attitude and effective problem-solving abilities
  • A valid driving license is essential due to occasional travel requirements

  • Annual salary of £20,312 (increasing to £21,381 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

The full-time equivalent salary for this position is £33,854 based on a 37.5-hour workweek, increasing to £35,636 after 12 months of service, contingent on satisfactory performance.
