About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join our team at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Service Line, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the clinical supervision of a qualified psychologist, you will conduct assessments and develop care plans for clients with mental health problems or disabilities.
  • You will assist in the planning and delivery of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work, to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support for our clients.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in psychology and experience of working with people with mental health problems or disabilities. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in highly emotive and emotionally charged settings.
