Junior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role will support the International Finance Manager in the financial oversight, analysis, and administrative tasks related to DPD Group UK's international operations. Key collaborators include the International Operations Department, inter-company representatives, and finance team members.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the generation of management reports, including weekly and monthly financial statements for international operations.
- Coordinate with the International Operations Administration team to ensure timely and accurate recording of expenses.
- Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with company policies.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of import duty and VAT control accounts.
- Support the upkeep of the international cost structure within the company's financial management systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of weekly performance reports for departmental managers to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in the creation and review of presentation materials as requested by the International Finance Manager.
- Reconcile intercompany balances with partner organizations.
- Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree with a minimum classification of 2:1 in any discipline. A commitment to pursuing either ACCA or CIMA qualifications is essential.
Desired Skills- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in managing workload independently and prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and significance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to foster relationships with finance colleagues and other departments, complemented by strong communication skills.
- High level of computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
