Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless production and upkeep of both new and existing machining programs. This position requires a proactive approach, as the individual will be actively engaged on the production floor, ensuring that all programs are optimized for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize various CAM software, including SmartCAM and GibbsCAM, to create, implement, and maintain machining programs for diverse manufacturing processes.
2. Employ Creo (ProEngineer) to analyze models and generate programs for intricate machined profiles across milling, turning, and turn/mill machines.
3. Develop methodologies tailored to specific manufacturing processes using bespoke software solutions.
4. Assist in estimating machining times for new projects and provide cost assessments for sales and management as needed.
5. Validate and refine generated software programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of a Full Time Served Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, coupled with substantial industrial experience.
- Familiarity with various machine and process protocols (ideally Fanuc, Okuma, Mazak, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- A strong engineering background with a focus on quality, precision, and a commitment to a 'right first time' approach.
