Astute People is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability and Auditing Manager to play a pivotal role in the company's sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Collection and Management: Collect and manage data required for sustainability and government scheme submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Audit Preparation and Execution: Gather, check, and present data, as well as manage third-party relationships in preparation for audits.
- Supply Chain Sustainability: Collaborate with suppliers to collect data on the carbon intensity of feedstock production processes and monitor changes to soil quality and crop yield due to digestate use.
- Sustainability Strategy Development: Support the development of the company's sustainability strategy, working closely with the wider business.
- Credentials and Schemes: Develop an understanding of the sustainability credentials of all feedstocks and stay up-to-date with voluntary sustainability schemes.
- Passion for Sustainability: A genuine passion for energy and sustainability, with a strong understanding of the importance of sustainability in business.
