Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Irwin and Colton. As a Junior Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our existing health and safety team in delivering improvements in health, safety, and wellbeing performance across our depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in documenting and investigating incidents in the workplace to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Advise and assist in delivering improvements in health, safety, and wellbeing performance across the depot through audits, inspections, and reporting.
- Work closely with site teams to assess opportunities to create solutions for health and safety challenges and share best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for health and safety and a drive to progress in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
