Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the pre-construction phase of projects and deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate cost estimations using estimating software.
- Evaluate bid specifications, drawings, and project documents to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to develop pricing strategies for materials, focusing on cost-effective and time-efficient delivery.
- Identify potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct cost analysis to calculate cost-efficient project outcomes.
- Work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of estimating activities.
- Attend tender-stage visits to gather additional information.
- Relevant degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the industry.
- Proficient in construction estimating software.
- Strong experience in substation or battery storage.
