Role Overview: We are currently looking for a full-time Advocacy Worker to provide essential support during a maternity leave period. This position involves working closely with children and young people from priority backgrounds, ensuring their rights are upheld and their voices are heard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the expression of thoughts and opinions among children and young people.
- Support participation in processes that influence their lives.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of advocacy services.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess experience in engaging with children, young people, and families, whether in a professional or voluntary capacity. A solid understanding of child protection matters is crucial. Additionally, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel are required.
