Job Description

Avaloq Testing hands-on experience is mandatory to have in recent project.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for all test activities throughout the testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts.

This customer-facing role requires excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Test Policy and Test Plan
  • Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing
  • Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
  • Report progress to management and client
  • Manage client relationship with appropriate communication
  • Manage defects and Reporting
  • Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability
  • Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
  • Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting
  • Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes procedures
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
  • Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments
  • Experience with Avaloq banking system solution

  • Experience of testing in Agile context: (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing)
