About the Role

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will assist partners and managers in delivering efficient and professional audit and accounting services. You will also play a key role in training and managing junior staff, helping them to develop and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, supervise, and execute full end-to-end audits, meeting agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Lead audits, supervising and delegating tasks to trainees, and assisting them with technical queries.
  • Deliver complete audit files for review, attending initial planning and audit closedown meetings with clients.
  • Maintain close liaison with clients, audit teams, and audit partners, delivering work under primary accounting frameworks, mainly FRS 102.
  • Prepare and review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax services, motivating and encouraging team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and requirements, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Identify and understand client needs, offering initial solutions and communicating these to the manager/partner.
  • Achieve annual chargeable hour targets, taking responsibility for maintaining annual training requirements and proactively identifying personal training needs.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum of 2 years auditing experience, including leading audits.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (primarily FRS 102) and auditing standards.
  • Proficient in using Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, partners, and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritise work, and manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and diligence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
